Fighting the Fear That Tries to Stop Your God‑Given Dream

Fear shows up the moment you start walking toward something God has called you to. It whispers worst‑case scenarios. It magnifies obstacles. It tries to convince you that you’re not ready, not worthy, or not capable.

But fear isn’t a sign that you’re off track — it’s a sign that you’re getting close.

Throughout Scripture, God gives one command more than almost any other: “Fear not.” Not because life is easy, but because fear is the enemy’s first weapon. If he can make you afraid, he can make you hesitate. And if he can make you hesitate, he can make you stop.

Fear is spiritual interference. Courage is spiritual obedience.

When God says “Fear not,” He isn’t asking you to pretend you’re not scared — He’s asking you to trust Him more than the feeling. Fear is loud, but God’s promise is louder. Fear shakes your confidence, but God strengthens your spirit. Fear tries to block the dream, but faith pushes it out of the way.

Every time you choose courage, you’re declaring: “I believe what God said more than what fear is saying.”

And that declaration moves you forward.

Fear doesn’t disappear all at once. It fades as you walk. It weakens as you obey. It loses power every time you take a step in faith — even a small one. The enemy wants you frozen; God wants you moving.

So when fear rises, remember this: You are not walking alone. You are not walking unprotected. You are not walking without a promise.

God didn’t give you a dream to torment you — He gave it to you because He intends to fulfill it through you. And His first instruction for the journey is simple, powerful, and deeply personal:

Fear not.

  1. FEAR NOT!!! This is good. We often forget not only what we are capable of, but what God put in us. What he put in us to fulfill that business, that book, that education, that dream, He already opened the door for us to achieve it.
