I’ve spent months trying to figure out who the “right” people are for Cheerful Road. Not in a marketing way — in a human way. Who actually resonates with this message? Who feels seen by this kind of reflection? Who is quietly walking their own intentional journey and looking for a companion along the way?
I assumed my tribe would show up on social media first. LinkedIn. Instagram. Maybe Pinterest. That’s where I’ve been posting, experimenting, trying to signal to the people who feel like they’re in the season of almost.

I checked my podcast analytics.
And the numbers were… different. Quietly strong. Steady. Growing without me pushing them.
It made me pause.
Because while I’ve been trying to “find my people” on the platforms everyone talks about, it turns out my tribe might already be listening — literally.
